The Rebels won their Pool play and advanced past Hereford to face Permian in the Finals.  The Panthers chose to forfeit, giving Lee the tournament title.

It took the Rebels a full game to settle down and play their kind of ball, as LHS fell to Rockwall by a score of 41 to 34.  In the second game, Lee disposed of Rosenberg Terry 27-19.  The Rebels had a chance to win the pool, but allowed Weslaco to score at the end of the game and lost 26 to 25.

The Rebs were slated to face Cedar Park in the Consolation bracket opener, but heavy rains forced the coaching staff to call it quits.  The trip was the first Lee appearance in state 7-on-7 competition.
